How do you know your training works? Well, what are your objectives? What are preparing for? At MovNat we train to develop - and/or restore - then maintain our body and mind COMPETENCY and PREPAREDNESS, so we can effectively respond to potential situations of the real-life that demand physical performance. We believe that EVERYONE should be equipped with such competency and preparedness, for self, for others, for ones family or community. Young, old, men, women, regardless of background. The most solid way we know to express the highest FUNCTIONALITY of our movements and training is to EMPHASIZE PRACTICALITY and ADAPTABILITY. In short, we move and perform in ways that closely resemble how we would need to move and perform in a real context, in term of environment or situation. It is that simple, and that EFFECTIVE. We seek PATTERN. We seek VARIABILITY. As we practice our natural movements MINDFULLY, with a high focus on technique and EFFICIENCY, and at progressively greater levels of volume, intensity or complexity, our strength and conditioning increase SYMBIOTICALLY with our movement skills level. We do it anywhere, in nature, in the city, indoors at the gym, in our backyards, at the playground, in the streets. We do it anytime, because we train for LIFE. Do you?
