How do you say good-bye to a friend? How about a world full of friends? I knew this time was coming, and even hinted at it recently, but I didnt really want to accept it. This is very painful for me, because so many of you have become so precious to me. I so look forward to reading your words, and seeing the image of your faces, each day. As I often point out, though, this is not reality, but a semblance of it. The relationships are real, to be sure, and so are the bonds of love in the Spirit. Those bonds will remain, and there are other ways beyond Facebook to maintain them. Theres old-fashioned email, or even the phone. Also, of course, theres the website I just restarted. I dont know yet the last day Ill be on, but youll know when I do. It is apparent by the almost total lack of response to my article links that few of you will take the trouble to visit me away from Facebook. I understand. I was almost at the point of addiction with it once, and God graciously brought me out of that. For many, Facebook is about the only online experience now. I have told you more than once that I believe that the ministry Yahweh is leading me into is a face-to-face ministry. I thought perhaps Facebook would be an adjunct to it, but thats not the case. I dont want to say good-bye to you. Please let me know how I can stay in touch with you, and Ill do the same. The Lord bless and keep you always.
