How do you say someone is GREAT and not sound like you’re just - TopicsExpress

How do you say someone is GREAT and not sound like you’re just being ‘nice & complimentary’..?? I remember hearing about her before I met her, and her reputation preceded her impeccably. People would say stuff like: “Oh, you wanna talk to Alyssa Jacey, she knows what’s-up & she’ll be around..” It was a genuine ‘no-frills’ respect people had for her when she came-up in conversation, and I’m sure it’s gone way beyond that, since. For someone who garners such respect by peers, not to mention established heavyweights in the industry, she is disarmingly approachable and refreshingly genuine. And that’s just her disposition. When it comes to mentoring people, and getting down to the nuts & bolts of a project, she is driven, has a keen eye for the smallest detail, is way-beyond what you would just think of as organized, and really empathizes with YOUR style of learning. That’s Huge. You don’t have to wonder if you’re getting your money’s worth because she practices the principle of ‘doing more than she gets paid for’ which in these times, and especially in this economy, is all but a lost art. But it’s also the calling-card of the same entrepreneurial spirit that makes this country great, and just by sheer proximity, is a privilege to witness in action. Brake-it-down to it’s simplest form, and you CANNOT help but be improved by her company, mentoring or not. So just imagine if you “GET” mentored by her… I used to recommend her to people all the time, and then I decided to take my own advice and seek out her expertise. I’m beyond thankful that I did, and I hope that YOU are fortunate enough to be in the same position. If and when that happens, I imagine that my little blurb ,here, will seem to be lacking in the appropriate sentiment, as you will add your own take. So good luck, “bring your crew and wear your Blue!” Handsome Dan Music aka Dan Minard
