How do you see your challenges? Do they make you scared or insecure? Do they wear you out or make you stronger? The way we choose to look at our life challenges determines if you will end up victorious or not. Let’s examine the life of David when he was faced with Goliath. He portrayed a victory mentality in the face of adversity. Everyone in the army including King Saul was terrified at big Goliath, but David was not. He was a young shepherd boy but saw the situation rightly. He saw the possibility of defeating Goliath because he had the backing of Jehovah. David knew that the children of Israel had a covenant with Jehovah and the Lord would cause any enemy who rose against them to be smitten before their face (Deuteronomy 28:7, "The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways."). He knew this from scriptures and that made him confident. It is important for us to draw our confidence from scriptures when we are facing any challenge. Hold the word of God because the word of God is TRUTH (John 17:17). Let God be true and every man be a liar (Romans 3:4). It is also important for us to know that God will surely deliver us from any challenge whatsoever and no matter how difficult or complicated it might seem (Psalm 34:19). You will make it! You will come out stronger and better!!! Whatever problem confronting you today shall become the raw material for your next testimony this week in Jesus name
