How do you stop Troll with the power of a national TV network? - TopicsExpress

How do you stop Troll with the power of a national TV network? ESPN has spent the whole morning allowing the AD of Auburn to lobby for his 1 loss team to jump Ohio State in the polls. No counter argument... just pleas from Auburn (and by association the network) to get us the match up we all really want. None of the other sports networks are doing this. It is obvious that ESPN has conflicted interests because of their large SEC TV contract. And with the continued employment of talent like Mark May - its pretty clear that trolling fan bases like Ohio State is part of a business model to get email traffic and web page clicks. But if youre a sports fan how else can I ban their product. Ive already managed to divorce myself from their website - *not* easy for a sports fan - but then again they tend to charge for the good stuff anyway. Ive never considered using their fantasy products. I can avoid their talking head shows - but they have mastered the highlights coverage. And they are still a near monopoly when it comes to access and coverage. How else can I tell them to shove it?
