How does a man make a woman strong? A woman says tell me I am pretty even on the days I look bad to you! Tell me my hair is beautiful even when we both know it is not! Tell me my body has not changed since the day we met twenty five years ago! Tell me my little black dress still fits me perfectly! Tell me that my new dress makes my butt look smaller! Tell me no other woman has ever made you feel this way! Tell me that I am the best cook you have ever known! Tell me you love my driving! Tell me you trust me anytime under any circumstances! Tell me you respect my decisions! But most of all tell me you will never lie to me!!!!!! Women wonder why men become so silent once they are together a while? We are told to lie to keep you happy and to tell the truth to keep your trust, or we are going to have a real problem, so what can we do except be silent? Yes baby I agree, you are smarter than me? Yes baby you are the strong one? Yes baby you do look young for your age? Yes baby I will mow the yard while you sweep the floor! Yes baby I will build you the room you designed while you go to the Wal-Mart store to get groceries for dinner tonight!! Yes baby I will cut down that awful tree that is blocking the sun from the house while you do the dishes!!! Yes baby I will fix your car today while you feed the kids!!!! Yes baby I will gladly fix the flat while you sit in the car and keep your pretty hair dry!!!!! Yes baby you are definitely smarter than me or I would be doing your job while you do mine? Yes baby you are definitely stronger than me or it would be me that would say not tonight baby because I am too tired, my back hurts from all the hard work, all my muscles ache, yes even my head and my belly? Yes baby I will still be able to help you with the Kids, the meals, the vacuuming, the laundry, Lord knows I don’t do anything else around here!!!!!! But I do love you and that’s why I never say these things to you and I do everything I can to keep you happy, because that’s what a man does when he loves a woman as much as I love you!!!!!!!!!!!! Right. Yes baby I do know all about your womanly philology which makes you feel like it was your Idea for me to do all the things you don’t want to do, I also read Tom Sawyer in grade school.
