How does a mother protect her young? A bird wraps them under her wings, Some animals bury thier eggs to protect them before birth. God put this instinct in mothers/fathers, how to protect the born and unborn, including the animals. Animals are wild and feed off one another and we know you can only protect them so much without endangering yourself. As a human, that proctective instinct is always with you when it comes to your children. As we think of how we want to protect them for the dangers ahead, it is the same with God, He wants to protect His children from the dangers that He knows are ahead. We are stubborn and want to do it our way and therefore, we go through some dark days because we would not heed the dangers. As you protect, do you not want to be protected? All it takes is living close in step with Jesus and you will avoid so many thnigs that can drag you down in this life. You will have the protection that you need even when the times are hard.
