How does it become Saturday when yesterday was Monday? My life seems to have become a flip book with me flipping the pages, observing but not participating. Routine. So exhausted by 830pm, if Im lucky to have an early overnight aide scheduled, Im in bed by 9. Christmas party invitations have evaporated or shelved.... as my existence in those bright lights faded 3 years ago. Plans for lunch, for dinner, for a drink fall through more than happen because I am more connected to my responsibilities than I am to myself. But it has been my choice. My choice. Its so easy to lose yourself while you take care of everyone around you, until you realize that no one is taking care of you, including you. My gift this Christmas season to me is me. I am going to find time. To heal. To write. To be. Everything else will follow. Its time. Thanks for the confidence. Chapter One........
