How does one explain revelations that frm 1960, outflow of funds frm Nigeria had got worse & yet d sanctimonious speeches about anti-corruption continue to rent d air. If at independence in 1960, d political elite had reached a broad consensus on d fundamental values that should be d overriding principles of governance in order to make life more abundant 4 all, to cater 4 d poor, to increase opportunities 4 all, to provide safety net 4 d widow & d orphan & to reduce d gap between d rich & d poor, between d North & d South & between d haves & d have nots, they would have laid a solid foundation 4 stability in Nigeria.
