How does one find the answers in such a tragedy. Blame? Judgement? Racism? None of those allow any healing to take place. What happened yesterday at MP was an incident that hit too close to home for a lot of people, far too close for my family and our community as we grieve for our loved ones and pray for our dear ones holding on to their lives. As media and the cyber world continue in chaos, please, pay no mind to the negativity. Help one another out to stand up and support each other. Dont feed into the hurtful and disgusting words people feel the need to share. Dont stoop to low levels. Healing can start now, with a prayer, a moment of silence, release of emotions, lighting a candle, brushing yourself off, standing in support of your loved ones...we all may have disagreements in our lives from time to time, we all may have different beliefs, different higher powers, different spirituality, but we all have one thing in common, unconditional love. Wrapping our families and communities in love, protection, strength, and comfort.
