How does one separate a childs will from the parents? I hear a lot - TopicsExpress

How does one separate a childs will from the parents? I hear a lot of- Is this about what the child wants OR about what the mother wants? Help me to see how that is even a valid question! If you were an Adventist trying to get your childs right to have Saturday off- how do we make the childs wishes distinct from yours? Get the kid in a room and ask them? Do we need to? Who are you to come here and claim to be able to discern and distinguish this and comment about it as the pivot point for your support or lack thereof? We are too easily judgmental on social media. If I found a cause such as this and didnt think it was a meaningful one- I wouldnt use it as a forum for my unsolicited self-righteous parenting classes. I would keep moving and find more meaningful use for my time.
