How does the CSA work? You buy a share at the beginning of the year in return each week you will receive a basket of our farms produce. Shares are sold buy the 1/2 share of whole share. A 1/2 share generally has 6 produce items per week. A whole share has 8 and more of some of the items. We do provide a exchange table for you to customize your basket to your needs. In this way you arent stuck with an unwanted item. We do have an open farm tour and work day in June and hopefully one again in September. You are encouraged to visit the farm to learn how we are tending the soil and producing the crops. This is a great way to learn more about how the produce is raised and for you to involve your children in the local food system. We are also trying to organize more canning, dehydrating and food preservation classes for this year. If you have an further questions feel free to give me a call at 812-233-7990 To help you find out more about us click the ABOUT tab on the left right under the profile picture. This is where you will find all our information and cost as well as an application. I have pinned a phot album of pictures of last years CSA baskets to the top of the page to let you see what and how much baskets generally contain. If you have any other questions feel free to call me at 812-233-7990. And remember to keep spreading the word!!!! VIA that little share button!
