How far is it proper to celebrate 18th January as the day of remembrance of Dada Lekhraj (alias Brahma) by Brahmakumaris? Perhaps the entire world does not know, but those persons, who have been closely associated with Brahmakumaris Institution or its members, must be aware of the importance of 18th January in the life of any Brahmakumar or Brahmakumari. The members of the Brahmakumari Institution believe that on this day in 1969 the founder of the institution Dada Lekhraj (alias Brahma) left his corporeal body and has been residing in the subtle world with a subtle body beyond the sun, moon and stars and enters into the body of BK Gulzar Dadi to narrate Avyakta Vanis at Abu Road or Mt. Abu in Rajasthan every year as per predetermined programmes. In the centers of Brahmakumaris Institution situated worldwide, 18th January is celebrated as a meditation day and on this day Dada Lekhraj (alias Brahma Baba) is remembered especially. Although God Shiva had given Shrimat (directions) through the mouth of Dada Lekhraj while he was alive that the photos of Dada Lekhraj alias Brahma or any other bodily being should not be displayed because body is perishable and made up of five elements. In the Gyan Murli (flute of knowledge) dated 21.7.05, pg.3 published by Brahmakumaris it has been written, Always think that it is Shivbaba who is speaking. Do not keep even his photo. This chariot has been taken on loan. In this connection some more extracts of Gyan Murlis of Supreme Father Shiva are given below:- • You don’t keep even His (Brahma’s) photo. Don’t keep photos of embodied persons (Mamma-Baba, Dadi, Didi, etc.). (Murali 10.06.71 pg.1) • Baba explains that only the ignorant followers insist on acquiring the photos …… This body is nothing but soil. Why should we see his (Brahma’s) photo? The traditions of Bhakti Marg (path of worship) do not exist in the Gyan Marg (path of knowledge). (Murali 13.11.70, pg 2) But after the demise of Dada Lekhraj photos of Dada Lekhraj (alias Brahma) and Saraswati can be seen in the Brahma Kumari ashrams and homes of Brahma Kumar-Kumaris worldwide. And now, instead of the photographs of Brahma and Saraswati the photos of the current Administrators of Brahma Kumaris have started appearing on the invitation cards and publicity material in the public programmes (especially the mega programmes), which is a direct violation of Shrimat. Similarly, the Supreme Father Shiv has given the Shrimat to Brahmakumar-kumaris that they should continuously strive to remember the incorporeal Supreme Father Shiv through His human body-like chariot and not on any special days like the path of worship (bhaktimarg), or five times a day like the Muslim brothers or by sitting at one place with the help of songs and red light. In this connection the Shrimat of Supreme Father Shiv given in the Gyan Murlis published by Brahmakumaris is as follows: • One must remember Baba every second. It is not a question of sitting in faith (neshtha) at one place. One must be in remembrance even while walking and moving.” (Revised sakar murli dated 01.10.05, page 3 published by BKs) • “Father is teaching such a highest knowledge. In this, one has to just remember Father though one’s intellect. There is no need to even switch on any lights etc.” (Murli dated 23.10.05, page 2) • “Here Baba says-remember me. This is ajapajaap (a silent chanting). Nothing has to be uttered through mouth. Songs are also a gross matter….. Otherwise one will keep remembering songs etc. ….. You have to go beyond sounds. Father’s direction is Manmanaabhav (i.e. merge your thoughts into mine). Does Father ask you to sing songs or shout?” (Murli dated 11.11.05, page 2&3) Actually, contrary to the beliefs of Brahmakumaris, neither Supreme Father Supreme Soul Shiva nor the soul of Dada Lekhraj has left this human world drama stage, necessitating any Shraddh-like programme (periodic commemorative death rituals) of Bhaktimarg (path of worship) in their remembrance. But they are completing the unfulfilled task of establishing heaven on earth at some other place or through some other body. As per the Sakar Murli dated 4.10.05, page 2 published by Brahmakumaris, Father has come and will depart. It cannot be said that he is dead. For e.g. it would be said for Shivanand that he left his body; then they perform the last rites. When this father departs then there will not be any necessity to perform his last rites, (funeral) ceremony etc. One does not even know about his arrival.” Actually, incorporeal Shiv played the role of just a mother in unlimited sense through Dada Lekhraj till 1969 to create the mouth-born Brahmin children. And since 1976 He has entered into an ordinary, sinful, experienced human body-like chariot and is playing the role of Prajapita Brahma, i.e. a father in an incognito manner and is teaching the true knowledge of Gita and Rajyog in the historical village Kampila, situated in the Farrukhabad District of Uttar Pradesh famous as the birthplace of Ram and Krishna, land of Shiv Shankar Bholeynath and the purifying Ganges and for this task He has established the Adhyatmik Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalay. Picture of any human being is not displayed in AIVV. Only the pictures containing knowledge and prepared on the basis of the Shrimat of Supreme Father Shiva are displayed, which contain the knowledge of the soul, supreme soul, and the beginning, middle and end of the human world drama cycle. Actually, according to Supreme Father Shiva, remembering incorporeal Supreme Father through the living permanent corporeal chariot is the right method of Raj Yog, just as we observe the diamond kept in a golden jewel box. But in the Ashrams of Brahma Kumaris, we are taught to remember only the formless point of light, whereas the corporeal part being played by Shiv Shankar Bholeynath is being ignored. Omshanti.
