How good is your memory? Where were you when you heard JFK had been assassinated? I was in Mrs. Loves third grade class at Woodlawn School. We were dismissed early. I remember going home and finding my mother crying. I had no conception at the time how monumental this event was. I was only upset because my ice skating lesson was cancelled. As Ive gotten older we learned about it in history class and it piqued my interest in politics. To this day, Caroline Kennedy is one of the people on my list of someone Id like to sit and have coffee with. She was just a couple of years younger than I am, and Ive always been impressed with her abilities.
