How i wish we had 20 Ameen Alis in Ugandan Motorsport. How i wish such people were recognized and rewarded in the FMU annual awards as a token of appreciation. Ameen Ally is one of the significant persons we have in Ugandan Motorsport. He is not a billionaire but has passion for the sport. I have only seen Karim Hirji, and Riyaz Kurji donate cars to drivers but if u compare the earnings of the former two in them days and Ameen today, he is not even close. Ameen has purchased and given out 3 rally cars to rally drivers including helping other drivers in various ways. He doesnot only purchase rally cars and give them out to drivers but also facilitates and sources sponsors for the very drivers to say Rwenzori Mineral water that has parterned with Ameen for a number of years. He was able to bring Moil on board and the relationship seem to be working so well. Big up Ameen, u deserve respect. Thats what they call passion.
