How in the WORLD do some authors get published... Its like the editors glanced over the work and said, Well, the STORY is compelling and pushed it forward. Have you ever read through a whole series that you hate ? Not because it was bad as a story but because it was terrible in almost all other areas? Terrible dialogue, terrible style, author has a bad habit of forgetting other characters in crucial sequences? Characters are not well fleshed out and seem whiny/ made up? Author has a terrible habit of telling and not showing? Doesnt give enough detail in nearly any situation... ??? Just... O_O
