How interesting that the women who are in a position to allow their husbands to support them while they pursue a writing career are making news--the kind of news that doesnt come across as all that flattering. Where have these journalists been all these years that women have been supporting husbands who spent years in medical and law school, or who supported men who were struggling to get a company off the ground? Perhaps, somewhere, in the thousands of articles written over time, there was one journalist who reported on men who took advantage of their wives incomes while they pursued their passion, but I havent seen that article. I am a single mother who keeps two jobs while pursuing a writing career.
