How is it that Christmas lights SNAG on almost anything and - TopicsExpress

How is it that Christmas lights SNAG on almost anything and everything? I could drag a light string of lights across a sidewalk, and without fail, that little bugger will catch on the tiniest edge of a crack, and not budge. I turn back, amazed that this little light caught that little crack, and then spend five minutes trying to dislodge that which under the laws of physics, shouldnt have happened in the first place. Lights in trees? Even worse. You cannot move lights to another branch. Its impossible. I had the smallest little thread of my jeans get hooked on that little itty bitty lamp holder flap, on the light string, and it took me 5 minutes to get it undone. It never fails....if a Christmas light has a chance to get caught on something, it will. I should bring a 30ft string of lights to the lake and fish with it. There is no way a fish could ever get off of it once hooked. Heck, we could clean the ocean floor by dragging nets made of Christmas lights on the bottom. It would be spotless. One more thing...you would think someone would have invented a tool to remove the light from the socket. Every year I stab myself with screwdrivers trying to get this small little lamp out of its holding place. I break fingernails, ruin tools, and battle to repair that which should be a pretty simple repair. LOL! Oh well. Phase one is done, phase two tomorrow.
