How is it that people do not use mass transit; not convenient enough? Wont be convenient until used enough. Why is it that people who do not use mass transit do not want to invest in it? Do they enjoy the traffic crush, the torn up streets, the extra gas to pay for the long slow pollution filled drives to work? Who thinks about mass transit as a positive thing in this populated Vancouver to Portland corridor? Why do people resent spending the cost of four gallons of gas for a 10+ gallon drive, what does that drive really cost on the wear and tear to their vehicle, their tires, their nerves?
