How long do we tolerate? Fundamentalism in this country reached a new level with the attack of a buddhist shrine. It is up to us to introspect why this is happening. An IM hand seems to be at work. Is it that some foreign forces are responsible? Why is it that they suddenly consider the harmless Buddhists a threat? Just the other day when I was abroad somebody called Mizanur Rahaman told me that he is a member of a fundamentalist organization under the auspices of one Akhter Ansari and one Golum Mohammed; both refugees from Bangladesh; settled somewhere in Bengal. It seems they also indulge in organ trading and body snatching. Recently he telephoned to me and told me that he and his gang is going to take up the cudgels against Buddhists to take revenge for what the people from the North East have done to them. He also told me that they indulge in body snatching and organ trading. How long do we allow refugees to dominate our politics? How long do we remain minorities in our own country?
