How long will it be before it dawns on David & Ruth that having encouraged them to take the money and move North, Pip plans to eff off abroad and wont actually be there to help.. [not that Im complaining the sooner she beggars off the better] AND that Jill wont be around to do all the cooking and cleaning either.. AND that Heather will require 24 hour care.. AND that Josh is hiding his deepening misgivings in the bottom of a vodka bottle and will be neither use nor ornament ?? They keep talking lovingly about what a paradise this new farm [ that they still dont seem to have offered on ] is going to be.. but all I see is the two of them moving North, on their own like Billy No Mates, with neither the time nor the support structure to actually manage an allotment.. let alone a sodding great dairy farm. Is Ben old enough to drive a tractor ??
