How long would you keep silent? My hubby has a 6 year old son, whom at the beginning was a fight to see him for 2 years. When he finally got to see him. His ex told my hubby he is not allowed to tell his son he is his Dad. The son calls my hubby by his first name. Its still a fight to see him in the past 6 years, we have seen him 3 times. Recently my hubby said he was going to stop paying support unless he gets contact once a week, and they video chat now. It kills my hubby not being able to tell him, and if he does his ex said he will lose all contact. We have other kids and his ex will not allow our other kids to see his son for the fact she is afraid they will tell the son the truth. That they are related. We dont have anymore money for lawyers to keep fighting. We live in different provinces. We see a lot of parental alienation from his ex. She was so mad one time because we didnt send support on a certain day, that when a parcel arrived for my hubbies son. She mailed it back to us!!!! The son didnt even get the presents :( Eventually we sent it again and he got it! When the son was 3 months old, my hubbies ex broke up with them ans started dating a new guy, and this new guy is who the son thinks is his real and only dad
