How many Christians and Muslims and Druze live in Israel and have the vote? Almost 2 million. How many Jews live in Palestine and have the vote? None. The facts are clear: Palestinians are the real racists. Apartheid is alive and well in Ramallah and Gaza City. Since Abbas has no constituency to speak of, and could never make any sort of compromise about anything, nor sign any agreement with Israel, the so-called negotiations have been an exercise in futility from day one. The Pals have succeeded in abrogating just about every agreement that they signed since the Oslo Accords in 1993, by continually taking unilateral steps. This was one of the main tenets of the Oslo Accords, which they have continually broken, including going to the UN. A real agreement and true peace will only come about when the Pals decide they no longer wish to take over all of Israel, and begin to teach their children to think of peace, and not war, and not until then. People who buy into the moral equivalencies argument are either biased against Israel, ignorant or have not studied the factual history of the region over the past 60 years. Sadly, George Bush was supportive of Israel, but not intelligent enough to facilitate a real peace process. Obama and company are simply too weak, ideologically predisposed against a strong Israel and generally inept in understanding the geopolitics of todays world.
