How many atoms are in the human body? 7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 Atoms do not die when we die so ... what happens to our atoms that make up our human body when we die? Do our atoms just disperse after we die, and then we are nothing but atoms and turn into nothing, or do our atoms get absorbed by other living things, so we turn into those living things, like animals or plants or fungi or single-celled organisms, or others humans? Do our brains break down so were not us anymore, so youre not the same person that you were when you had your human brain, but do some of the atoms in your body turn into the brains of non-human mammals, or even other humans? Could it be, that the atoms that make up you, be the same atoms that made up some else from the past? Could it be, that the atoms that make up you, be the atoms that will make up someone in the future? Just a though. What do you think?
