How many generations have passed between you and Adam? Have you ever wondered about your own grandfathers and grandmothers, and those before them? They too, each and every one of them, lived their lives with similar hopes, dreams, aspirations, problems, sufferings, joys, marriages, births, deaths, disasters, and ups and downs as you. Yet, each one of them suffered the same inevitable death that is decreed to and upon mankind. And each and every one of them eventually faded into the anonymity of your past even as you live in the present. And your children and their children after you - they too will join this continuous chain and unbroken lineage, but after your own time has come to an end and the future for you becomes the present for them. Take advantage of this life, before you too become unknown in the anonymity of your own descendants past. For your descendants might not know you or your lifes efforts, but Allah will take account of all, and He shall judge you for your deeds. And the life of the next world - that is the true life!
