How many of us catch ourselves dreaming about a life that is free of struggle, uncomfortable situations, hard moments and depressing days? Maybe something as simple as eating your lunch without your kids asking for your every bite, your car always working perfectly, everyone liking you and what it would be like without constantly washing mountains of laundry and dishes!? Is it possible for us to allow these discontent moments to REMIND US that we must FIGHT for our contentment in Christ daily? Like, we could not live in constant joy even if our circumstances would line up to perfection. The only solution is to allow the deep work of Christ in us through the day to day moments that we feel discontent. We must notice it and run to the source of joy, Christ himself!
