How many of you are voting thru listening to commercials? How many of you actually bother to read the information guide for voters. Yes i am a nerd, i read the voter information guide, i dont pay attention to ANY commercials, flyers, phone calls from ANY side. i dont bother with liars, they are not worth my time. Prop 45...Commercials, flyers, fb pages scream power grab!!! Big business keeps its war on the middle class going by not letting employees work full time and fighting to keep the min. wage low, with as little benefits as possible. Many are now are being forced to work for small business or be self employed. Many are turning to their local shops and stores to spend what little money we have, which helps to pay for the health insurance of the employees of said mom and pop stores. They put the money back in the local economy when they pay their premium. so i read the pros the cons, the fiscal impact, the social impact, yadda So...we CAN have a commissioner to protect the Homeowners and Vehicle Insurance premiums down (prop 13). Yet still, for those of us who rent, no protection from rate hikes in our rent from said homeowners, and less money goes into a safety net for as all. But we CANT have a commissioner to keep health insurance companies from hiking up our premiums, simply becos the health insurance companies are crying foul, and so they get up their and LIE about it. And take us hostage whining about how they are going to leave the state? :facepalm: This is one of tweaks that could have been settled by Congress for all states that have Romney-care. Enough Californias, like Obama. are not willing to wait till they decide to do their job, or this wouldnt be on the ballot. Does anyone here honestly think that voting for what the health insurance companies want is in OUR best interest? Who here would like a review of increase rates on your health insurance BEFORE your rates go up? Wheres the accountability at present ? The companies have gone without anyone questioning why for decades, and all we see is, the premiums rise. NEVER have we ever seen them lower. Go look at the arguments for and against and LOOK who has signed saying NO Health Clinics, Physicians, and ooooo look, the California Chamber of Commerce. Chamber of Commerce...the businessmans bastion, where only decisions benefitting BUSINESS and NOT EMPLOYEES of said California. The bunch who decried Romney-care and who used the same threat of everyone is going to leave the state if it passes. Now go open your door, i dont know about you but the sky did not fall. Sun still up in the sky... And youre going to believe that the Chamber of Commerce has our best interest in heart as well.?
