How many of you gorgeous people take a Vitamin (multi or) B12 supplement? Vitamin B12 is something we all need for healthy nerves, and healthy blood. Vitamin B12 is not made by animals.. Vitamin B12 is not made by plants.. Vitamin B12 is made by bacteria - in dirt. Up until recently when hygiene has become more common, it was thought that the bacteria in dirt, from our vegetables and on our hands might be enough. Meat eaters get *some* B12 in their diet because in the cows gut - there is bacteria, a teeny tiny bit of it containing B12. HOWEVER, you need pretty good digestive enzymes and stomach acid for your body to actually remove and absorb the b12 from the meat - which, most people do not. Hence, most B12 deficient people are in fact meat eaters.
