How many of you have tried our Cask Conditioned or Real Ale Beer? Real Ale is ale that has been fermented in the same container from which it is served. Our Real Ale is Cask-conditioned meaning that it comes from a cask rather than from a bottle (bottle conditioned). Real ale remains in contact with live yeast even after fermentation which leads to further flavor development. Real ale is pulled from the cask using a beer engine (pump) rather than being driven out using compressed CO2 gas. This gives the beer a gentler carbonation, and a smoother, silkier mouth feel. Also, Real ale is served at cellar temperatures (50 deg.) NOT at refrigerator temperatures (40 deg.). This allows the flavors to greater express themselves. So try a glass of Real cask-conditioned ale and savor the flavor.Come in and try a taste and talk to Scott about what you think. Its ESB this week
