How many of you out there think that social media actually make you less social? When Im not shooting, I can tell you that I spend countless hours in front my computer and phone, jumping back and forth between social networking sites every single day. I think its safe to say that 99% is business for me ... but what about that other 1%? Late last night it really hit me when I realized that my kids were in the other room watching a movie without me while I was spending that other 1% on Facebook. I wasnt editing. I wasnt networking. I wasnt selling. I was just hitting the refresh button, staring, and doing absolutely nothing. 2 hours later (said in the voice of the Sponge Bob Narrator)...... kids walked into my office to kiss me goodnight and said, dad, you missed a great movie! I felt horrible. So with that said... A new goal is in the works! Can you guess? Life is way too short and those 1%s are adding up quickly for me. If you were to just spend ONE little hour AWAY from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc a day.. what would you do with that hour?
