How many of you think our govt should put a ban on obscene dance performed by bar dancers at Sonpur Mela? Dont we have other ways to attract more tourists instead of promoting this obscene dance culture? Instead we can try to bring something new e.g. every district and village whatever we have something famous be it any clothing (Bhagalpuri silk sarees), dishes (Litti chokha), any art form (Mithila painting), or anything famous of our respective places. Other ideas such as adding speciality stalls to our respective towns or villages to increase attraction to our areas. But having this scene is causing us grief and discomfort to our new generation of children and newcomers. We need to remember the true beauty of India; the dance, the folk, the love and beauty of art and the strive of hard work through labour. This is what makes us Indians; this is what attracts foreigners to our beautiful land. This shall not be tolerated at any cost! *ganga*
