How many officers get to the sub-station, pull off the vest and sit to write their paper? The shooting this morning in LA is a wake-up call that a gun battle can happen anywhere, even in your own police facility. Glad the officers were able to return fire and survived. Thankfully they were wearing their ballistic vests at their station. Were reminded today that if youre in uniform, youre a target for anyone that wants to do harm to the police, anywhere.
