How many parents think that schools have stolen childrens individualism? I remember loving back to school shopping! I could pick out my pencils, notebooks, folders and clothes and there werent any restrictions. I HATE school uniforms and I hate that the school tells my kids that they cant have folders and notebooks with images on them. School seems boring to them even before they start. LOL! I LOVED my Lisa Frank Trapper Keepers and all the cool stuff. Now everything is so vanilla. I dont know if it is district wide or just my kids school but I hate telling my kids no, no, no, you cant get those because they have pictures.
