How many people even knew about this meeting? The article doesnt mention anything about a Q&A, so I dont know if there even was one. Not that there would be a HUGE turnout for a governmental meeting; I resent the implication that there is alot of apathy on this subject due to a low turnout. Seems to me council - who are all somewhat connected to this - should make sure the public are aware of these meetings. There is alot of mistrust with the Mayor due to Meter Maidgate, with these types of articles published, one could make the argument that Council is also trying to pull a fast one with informational meetings not effectively advertised. If the implication is no one attended because it was summer - if memory serves last night looked like rain and if people knew about it, they mightve attended.
