How many times have we found people attacking me for discussing racism or white privilege? How many times have we heard them say you find what you are looking for, and discussing it manifests it... -- that I must be looking for it? Facts say different. When historical relevance is ignored to hide from the truth, how do we address it? We need to be more vigilant against injustice & inequality. If we arent, who will? If they deny it, who will expose it? If its a fact that African-American students need to complete two more levels of education to have the same probability of getting a job as their white peers, according to data obtained from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Census - then what is the argument? African-American male w/ an Associates degree has around the same chance of getting a job as a white male with just a high school diploma.
