How many times was this me? But walking on in faith, believing in spite of the circumstances, trusting Gods plan more than your own dream are three ingredients to seeing heavens best poured out on your life. I have always believed that Romans 12:2 ends by saying, That you might prove what is the good, acceptable and perfect will of God, because there are differing levels of blessing in Christ. Our gift is a product of just how strongly we deny the world and commit our lives to Him. Gods good will is not a bad thing. His acceptable will is also a blessing. But to walk in His perfect will is the place where few ever reside even for a time. Surrender, acceptance and contentment with the life we have are mandatory. There is not a better place than resting comfortably in Gods perfect will -- something like Jesus, sleeping in the back of the boat while the disciples labored and the storm ranged. That, my friend, is a slice of peace I would love to own.
