How much do we count for in the American media: Here is an article from the Washington Post that expresses deep regret on how the US Government has failed to screen sixty-five diplomats for posting as Ambassadors to various countries. The author has named many countries, some of them being Turkey, Sierra Leone, UAE, Bahrain, Guatemala, Norway, Argentina. He goes on to lament that the US government is without representation in eleven African, nine European and six East Asian countries! Not one mention of the vacancy in the US Embassy in New Delhi No matter how much we gloat, India does not figure in the American media. washingtonpost/opinions/david-ignatius-the-senate-republicans-foolish-fight-over-ambassadors/2014/09/02/b781fe40-32ec-11e4-a723-fa3895a25d02_story.html
