How much does a thousand rupee mean for a general line teacher. I guess, it means more than his career for him. One is there who has left his family, his duties and his everything for the general good of all and another is one who after being repeatedly called to pay thousand rupees always comes with one or the other excuse. I reject the excuse that a teacher taking a handsome salary of more than 25000 says that I do not have it right now and sometimes says that I will pay as soon as the salary is credited. Dear colleagues, what we need right now more than anything else is financial support from you. And if you dont come forward, we may (God forbid) lose the fight which we have almost won. A thousand rupee note does mean much when it comes to serving in the department under an Ret. Please wake up, wake up, wake up.
