How much more dysfunctional can our government become? Look at these stamps, it laughable, must be designed by someone sits behind a desk. It is a shame that the US Postal Service is out to put our youth at risk. As a parent and grand parent, I realize that my budding philatelist would be coerced: 1. To undertake jumping rope without the proper wrist braces to prevent juvenile carpal tunnel. 2. To learn juggling without proper head gear & eye gear to prevent concussions or permanent eye injury. 3. To dribble a basketball with a baseball cap, that could put others at risk when trying to take the ball away. 4. To do a cartwheel without proper head, knee and elbow gear. May suffer brain trauma from rattling around in their little head. 5. To play soccer without NOCSAE stamped shin guards that are age and size appropriate. 6. To shoot hoops, they are Michael Jordans in the making. Think of the air and impact on their developing joints when they land. 7. Skateboard without knee, elbow and helmet, oh my the horrors. What could possibly go wrong? 8. Turnaround or do the twist. I would hope they have been instructed about proper stretching and mechanics, would hate to cause premature back problems. 9. Play baseball without a helmet. I would hope they are playing t-ball and not baseball. Imagine a ball thrown at someone. 10. Stretch & Reach while balance precariously on a rock. Major safety concern. 11. Walk & Jug really have we considered if the child is properly prepared to undertake such a strenuous activity. 12. Balance without having someone spot them, there is some inherit risk there, isnt it. 13. Cannonball - only thing worse would be a belly flop. Imagine the horrors of jumping into a body of water, is it deep enough for that type of activity? 14. Climb/Hike Up - Without a safety line, what if they fall. There is no one to catch them. 15. Swinging - without being properly harnessed in the seat. What if she goes too high. She should have a helmet, shouldnt she? Here is the real article for your reading pleasure. Wonder how much this has cost the American taxpayer. parenting.blogs.nytimes/2013/10/11/a-headstand-without-a-helmet-the-postal-service-halts-just-move-stamps/
