How my brain works: When I was in middle school, I was involved - TopicsExpress

How my brain works: When I was in middle school, I was involved in a bike accident. Someone wasnt using their brain and parked their car on the middle of the already-too-narrow street. My friends little brother had rammed the side of my bike by mistake, and the breaks wouldnt work. So I had two options: hit the damn car and go flying, or try to put my foot out to stop the bike........ So I got into a fight with my bike. It must have won because it came out on top...literally. I ended up breaking my right arm in three places with two additional fractures (had to be placed in a full-arm cast for over three months.) Very first thing I do immediately after the accident? I shake the hand of this guy who comes up to me saying, Dude! That was a sick, gnarly ride, bro! Congrats! ----and I shook his hand with the one attached to my broken arm (I would actually feel the bone in my wrist grating against one another--broke clean through.) I wasnt thinking about the fact that I was in immense pain and had just used my bad arm to accept some strangers rather erratic handshake......no, I was thinking about the fact that he had just been redundant in his sentence structure using sick and gnarly back to back. v.v;
