You cannot win the war against Boko Haram by neglecting the well being and welfare of your security forces. You cannot win the war against Boko Haram by condoning corruption in the security forces. You cannot win the war against Boko Haram by ignoring or refusing to engage the community members. You cannot win the war against Boko Haram by outsourcing it to other countries. You cannot win the war against Boko Haram by refusing to seek cooperation of neighboring countries in protecting your borders and sharing intelligence. You cannot win the war against Boko Haram by relying on the civilian JTF only. You cannot win the war against Boko Haram by repeating strategies that are not working. You cannot win the war against Boko Haram by ignoring the root causes of the problem (poverty, ignorance, unemployment, corruption, bad governance, etc). You cannot win the war against Boko Haram without countering their violent and extremist ideology and messages. You cannot win the war against Boko Haram by ignoring the radicalization and recruitment process. You cannot win the war against Boko Haram without rebuilding and rehabilitating the communities destroyed by Boko Haram. You cannot win the war against Boko Haram by military force alone.
