How often do we update our best friends? Every six months, every year, every time we face a situation with our current best friend or whenever we meet someone who we deem more qualified to be a best friend? Sometimes we selfishly set our best friend measure at a level that is impossible to be fulfilled by mere human capabilities, and fail to see things from the other partys perspective. Humans will be humans no matter what. We must always bear in mind that perfection is not a human quality and never will be. Therefore, I urge you to not put your trust in humans, it is in this area we fail ourselves; we put too much trust into humans and expect too much from each other. In some situations we fail to examine ourselves, but instead point the finger at all those who came and left in our lifetime, and move on to the next person who comes along until something goes wrong. Equivalent to every relationship, there is no perfect friendship. No matter how close you are with another person you will face disappointments in each other. The fate of the relationship / friendship relies on how you interpret the situation and the manner in which you respond to it.
