How old is this getting? I mean....really!? We now have a new normal. None of us can now even remember what it was like to pay $1.84/gallon. Its such distant memory that it no longer enters conscience thought. But if you do think about it - where would your family, your household be right now if you had been paying $1 - $1.50 less per gallon for the past 5 1/2 years? Ask your liberal friends this question. He said it in plain English; that he thought we (as a nation) NEEDED to be at more like $4/gallon & that the real problem during the Bush years was that we just got there too fast. HE SAID IT, unveiled, plain as the sun in the sky. But nobody wanted to hear it.
