How pleasing it was to find my long lost copy of A Thousand Leaves - TopicsExpress

How pleasing it was to find my long lost copy of A Thousand Leaves at the bottom of a box whilst clearing some things in the shed last night. The jewel case was cracked, the booklet was water stained, and the disc was in a questionable scratchy state. The memory returned of buying this at the Normanville Newsagency (yes, really) on a mid-winters day in 1998 during school holidays. At the time I had the house to myself for about a week and spent most of time listening to this, The Smashing Pumpkins Adore, Jethro Tulls Thick As A Brick, getting occasionally stoned and attempting to repair my Holden Camira. A Thousand Leaves isnt my pick of SYs albums (that honour goes to Murray Street), but its still brilliant. I still want to be Lee Ranaldo too. P.S: As demonstrated by the video below fellow Antipodeans, didnt Recovery use to be amazing?
