How sad - its time to appoint a conservator for my boss. He wont let me use computer checks . . . no biggie, I like to save my fights for bigger issues. So I use checks with a carbon copy. I type the check (yes I am a dinosaur thank you) and staple the copy to the bill. Boss thinks this is stupid. To prove how inconvenienced he is by my taking Fridays off during the summer to use up my vacation (of which I have only taken once in 44 years) he decided to pay bills Friday. And thoughtfully made photocopies of the checks and attached them to the bills so I could enter them in Quickbooks. AAAIIIEEE!
