How shoud we Christians support Israel? These days, the social media has become the platform of oral war. The war inbetween Israel and Gaza has aroused many christians to blindly support Israel. There have been many articles written to get many supporters for Israel. I have seen great thoughts regarding the matter, however a number of emotionaly driven posts appeard that blindly supported the nation Israel. According to my inspection there are four types of groups among christians in relation to Israel. 1. Extream Opponent 2. Extream Supporter 3. Ignorant Negotiator 4. Sensible Manager. Extream opponent are they who have devoloped a kind of enimity against Israel and their votes always go against Israel. No matter how reasonable are israels stand yet they stand to oppose Israel publicky. I had seen many comments in facebook that was straight to pull down the integrity of Israel. infact their mentality is out of track and I would never appreciate them. A great example of extream opponent is Adolf Hitler. He thought himself as a strong christian and was avenging the Jews for killing his lord Jesus. Extream supporter are they who have gone in blindly supporting Israel. They are the product of hyper dispensationalism. They are literally more cocerned with Israels physical success rather than spiritual progress. They pray hard that Israel must win all the war no matter how rigidly Israel kills innocents. Thay are waiting patiently that Israel will build the temple but I wonder that how they can ignore the real meaning of the temple that is already fulfilled in Jesus. Saul supported the killing of Stephen and he was indeed guilty of that sin. So, blind support unto Israel may bring many innocent blood over the head of these extreme supporters. Ignorant Negotiator are they who are not any more concerned with the destiny of Israel. They have become so selfish in their account that they infact did negotiate Israels pain and future. Knowingly or unknowingly they ignore the welfare of Israel and take no stand at all. Infact, Bible say that judgment will also cover our mental position towards the relation with Israel, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel(Joel 3:2). Very often they avoid a kind of blessing that comes through the right relationship with Israel. Cornelious was rememberd not only for his prayers but for his alms that he gave for Jewish people,(Act 10:2). Sensible Managers are they who very carfully manage their stand with definite balance of Scripture and support Israel physically but more in spiritual aspect. They are concerned that all are not of real Israel so they only support the rightfull stand of Israels national outcome. Most certainly sensible managers long to see Israel turnning to Jesus rather than occupying the physical merits in their unbelief. I take my stand with sensibl managers because it seems me more scriptural driven than any emotionaly driven entity. Apostle Paul was the great lover of Israel and even wished to go accursed that Israel might be saved. But the deep revelation of God corrected him to leave such emotionally carnal feelings. Paul argues that once he WISHED to be accursed for the welfare of Israel(Rom 9:3), but later he changed his mind because he came to know that all are not of real Israel(9:6). Potentially his mind was driven by the right revelation towards Israel and he well equiped himself to long for the salvation of Israel for he said in Rom 10:1, Brethren, my hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. Lets take our stand to pray for the spiritual blessing of Israel. Psalm 122:6 say that those who pray for the peace(reconciliation with God) of Israel shall be blessed.
