How strange it is to be alone with ones own thoughts. This feeling born from the peculiar realization that myself and most likely many others hold analytic conversations with themselves about the nature of their own direct experiences. Whether these be abstract thoughts about the qualities or justification of subjective realities, or just check lists leading to purpose, that is, what theyre experiencing, what to experience next, and the causal goals of these processes. Even now I am only indirectly conveying generalities of these inner conversations in hopes that others may experience these strange symbols and pictures on this electromagnetic medium, and have their own detailed analytic conversations with themselves. Whether these secondary conversations hold any meaning or accuracy in interpretation depends on the use of general socially agreed upon definitions or words, and the axiomatic systems of inference in which meaning can easily be derived, but that rests on not just the ability of the author to express the thought, or functional argument, but the way these characters are experienced, and the relation to other experiences that are evoked. Indeed it seems much meaning is lost in these mediums of indirect experience. So many interesting questions. What do you suppose the error bars must be when sharing these inner conversations with others? Does it depend on intimacy, on intellect, on curiosity? Are memories and experience only really understood by an observer, or one with like experiences. How strange the chain of though is indeed when acknowledging ones own existence and discovering the comradeship solace can give. We are but islands of meaning, it seems, in a sea of abstraction, with no real intimate connections but the ones we manufacture, ones in which we can acknowledge and understand the inner conversations of the self, or perhaps a separate frame of reference also embarking on their own voyage, similar in magnitude and direction to my own.
