How time flies. Its been 365 days since I left home on the biggest trip of my life so far with hope that everything would go to plan. Spent 6 months in South East Asia travelling through Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam and did everything imaginable from diving, homestays, ziplining, climbed hundreds of temples, trekked some incredible jungles, full moon at New Year, chilling on white sand beaches, joining the lantern launch of Loi Krathong endless amounts of sunrise and sunsets, seen many astonishing natural, man made and living things on my adventure all with my beloved camera in hand and my eye looking through the viewfinder (and a beer in my pocket). Mostly though it was the beautiful people of SE Asia that made our trip so special (apart from the occasional crazy encounter) and not to forget the endless amount of expats and fellow backpackers who we enjoyed and shared our experiences with. Then as the money ran dry it was time for the next part which was the trip to Oz and getting a job. From joining the milkmen in Brisbane to picking fruit in Loxton to telesales in Adelaide to being a human guinea pig nationwide it is all fun and games. Still yet to see the majority of this beautiful country, but Ill get round to it. No worries there. Id just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who Ive crossed paths with on my travels, to everyone living in my 2nd homes Brisbane & Adelaide and mostly to you crazy lot at AFD who are the best bunch of little pricks anyone could hope to be friends with. Few more months and Ill be coming back home to the motherland which is Hartlepool and seeing all you lovely little creatures over Christmas and New Year. Then I will come back to Australia before spending 3 months in India from March and six months in South America later in the year. Oh, its a hard life. Stay cool Love yall x
