How to Respond to Those Who Insult Our Prophet Muhammad - TopicsExpress

How to Respond to Those Who Insult Our Prophet Muhammad (SAAW) Anger is not a choice, but control on agner is. That is: Anger is natural, however, control on anger is at your discretion. Some advice taken from Abu Shalwar page: Im no expert and just a layman and the knowledgeable people can correct me on this but I had a look at the contents of the urdu translation of as-sarim al-maslul ala shaatim ar-rasul, the famous work of Ibn Taymiyyah (rh) dealing with the punishment of one who insults the Prophet. Every single one of the argument therein actually revolves around either someone previously Muslim or a Dhimmi living in Muslim Lands insulting the Prophet (saw). He does not even discuss the issue of someone living outside the Muslim Lands doing it. Ill go out on a limb and suggest that its probably because its a no-brainer: you cannot apply Law on someone who is out of its jurisdiction. Furthermore - take note those who keep copy-pasting selective translated passages - any Muslim who lives in a non-Muslim land is a muahid i.e. he has an implicit/explicit covenant to abide by that lands laws. So, for any deranged moron to take laws in their hand - especially Muslims - not only are they CRIMINALS, but from perspective of Islamic Law, theyve also broken Islamic Law. The issue of insult becomes secondary here, because theyve already broken laws and contravened Shariah. They deserve punishment, nothing less. Criminals are criminals, even if they are Muslim. May we be saved from deranged, violent, extreme criminals, whose actions are only going to bring further hardship on Muslims and only Muslims.
