How to give your cat a pill: Step 1: pet her so she likes you for a minute. Step 2: pick her up like youre gonna hug her. Step 3: hug her because youre too nervous to make the first attempt. Step 4: set her down and reconsider if she actually needs the pill or not. Step 5: give her a pep talk about how the pill is going to help her Step 6: sneak in a few practice jaw grabs disguised as more petting Step 7: make first attempt Step 8: apologize to her Step 9: stare her down while you give yourself a pep talk. Shes just a cat... Step 10: disguise pill as yummy treat Step 11: watch her eat everything but the pill Step 12: beg her to please eat the pill, again, its good for her! Step 13: threaten to throw her out on the streets as she blinks at you. Step 14: remove all food except a tiny bit to disguise the pill and tell her she cant have anything else until she eats that, and you mean it! You dont care if she starves for 3 days. She could use a diet anyway. Step 15: give her her food, no questions asked, no pill taken. Step 16: silently weep while you consider getting a dog.
